The fastest boats on the planet, and a seat right where the spray flies

Foiling catamarans at motorway speeds, a grand prix on the water, and not a grandstand traffic jam in sight.

If you have never watched a fifty-foot catamaran lift clean out of the water and tear across a harbour at motorway speeds, we would gently suggest you have a small gap in your life that needs filling.

SailGP is Formula One on water, national teams, identical boats, and a season that hops between the best harbours in the world. The Black Foils fly the flag for New Zealand, and they are very, very good at it. Races are short, sharp and close enough to the shore that you can practically hear the crews yelling over the wind.

We put you where the view actually is, on the water or right on the front of it, with the food, the drinks and the getting-there all handled. You turn up, we point you at your seat, and the boats do the rest.

Tell us which round takes your fancy and we will build the weekend around it. Bring sunglasses and a healthy respect for physics.

Like the sound of it?This one's ready when you are.
