Milford Sound is one of those places that makes even seasoned wanderers go quiet. The catch, usually, is the getting there, a long and winding coach day that quietly eats the whole thing. So let us simply not do that.
Instead, you lift off from Queenstown and fly in over Fiordland, which is roughly a thousand times more dramatic than any road, then swap the helicopter for a boat and cruise right beneath the waterfalls with the cliffs towering overhead. Four hours, start to finish, and not a single one of them spent on a bus.

It is a big-ticket day, and worth every cent, the sort of thing you do once and then talk about for a decade. We know the operator, the aircraft and the timing that turn a very good day into the one you will be dining out on for years.
Give us your dates and we will build the trip around it. All you need to bring is a camera and a slightly better vocabulary than wow, which, fair warning, will fail you anyway.
