The voice of Australian motorsport is set for an unexpected call-up to a new television role.
Crompo, is said to be returning to TV sets in 2026, and this time with a new team of legends.
The Supercars Hall of Famer and Bathurst 1000 podium finisher, was spotted on-set during filming of Repco’s latest Bringin’ the Bathurst TV commercial.
The ad appears to have been shot discreetly with a small team of 300 staff and four film trucks with those silly side-pop-out trailers at an undisclosed location that looked like Sandown Raceway.
When asked how he’s been filling in his Sundays, Crompton said ‘he has not been idle’.
If Crompton is indeed returning to screens in living rooms across Australia and New Zealand for the 2026 Bringin’ the Bathurst commercial, it will be his second appearance in the award-winning production.
